1st wedding dinner invitation

it was not an easy job to bring darren attending uncle Bei's wedding dinner. the little mischievous terror keep trying to climb up from the baby high chair, snatched the spoon from the table, knocked it around then threw it away to the next table and nearly hit the lady sit behind him. poor daddy, his job is nothing but to pick up the spoon thrown by darren and passed it back to darren's hand, then picked it up again, again, again and again every time the spoon dropped. besides, mommy's task was to hold darren's leg by one hand throughout the dinner so that he won't had a chance to lift up his leg as to climb up from the chair.

sigh...end up daddy and mommy didn't enjoy much the delicious dishes, what a torture dinner :(

haircut again

darren's 3rd haircut on mommy's birthday.
it was quite a bad experience that darren wailed throughout the session. initially he was quite reluctant when we stepped into the hair salon. somehow mommy managed to divert his focus and amused him after some warm up with his favourite toy while waiting for his queue. when darren was asked to be on the seat (a wooden platform added to the chair), he still smile at me in front of the mirror. but the moment the hairstylist shaved his hair, he suddenly yelled and cried loudly. tears and hairs all over his face.
poor dear, i almost shed my tears too when seeing him cried in helpless. i think he must be frighten by the sudden noise made by the razor. he wailed and fell down from his seat as he wanted to escape. the hairstylist stunned there and didn't know how to continue. later mommy held darren tight on her chest and pressed his head on her shoulder to let the hairstylist complete it all at once while lil darren continue crying. we quickly moved out of the place as soon as it had done. it was really a terrible day!
next time i think it is better to trim darren's hair by myself, perhaps while he is sleeping, the most peaceful moment...

everytime when someone open the main gate, darren will be excitingly "run" towards the door. luckily there is still quite a distance for him, so you will see his disappointment each time of failure. oh man, don't understand why he is so wanted to get out.

mommy's birthday party

we had a BBQ on my birthday eve, this is the right time after a long rainy afternoon. we were so lucky that the rain stopped just before we started. the natural conditioned cool air was just nice for us to sit next to the hot pit, perfect!

poor darren, no one bother about him... he was locked inside the house while everyone's busy eating at the car porch.

ha! the only saver to relief him from loneliness. "gong gong i love you!"

darren had the first studio photo on his first birthday. all thanks to xiao xiao ah yee and suzanne jie jie that keep making him smile, smile and smile till he exhausted and lie down on the floor at the end of the session... big project man...phew...
